Vinny the Pug 's real life story began on 9-11, 2001 following the terrorist attack on New York and the Pentagon. Overnight, Florida's entire tourism economy was left in shambles. Vinny The Pug's human made the difficult decision to move the family out west to seek better employment opportunities.
